Allow and Deny IP List
Introduction
The Protection tab in the Thinfinity Workspace Configuration Manager allows administrators to specify a list of trusted IP addresses or ranges explicitly permitted access to Thinfinity® Workspace. Additionally, it enables the blocking of IP addresses deemed insecure for the environment, allowing the creation of a blacklist for enhanced security control
Creating an Allow List
- Open the Thinfinity Workspace Configuration Manager and click on the Protection tab.
- To create an Allow List, click Add, enter the IP address or Mask direction in the pop-up dialog, and click OK.
- The IP address or Mask direction must be added to the Allow List, as shown in the following picture. Apply the changes to finish the process.
Creating a Deny list
- Go to the second tab, Deny list, and click on Add.
- As in the second step of the previous section, complete the pop-up with the correct IP address or Mask direction and click OK.
- Apply the changes to finish the process.
