Set Up a RemoteApp Connection with Workspace 7
To publish a RemoteApp (provide access to a single application) follow the steps:
1. After you completed the installation process, open Thinfinity Configuration Manager already installed on your device. Select the HTTP Gateway connection and click Browse.
2. Your default browser will display Thinfinity Workspace home page: Click on Sign in to access your account.
3. The credentials page is displayed. Enter your credentials then click Sign in.
4. In the Thinfinity Workspace home page click the New Profile button.
5. You will be prompted to choose the type of connection you would like to establish. Select Application and click Next.
6. Next, you will be prompted to choose the type of application. Select RemoteApp then click Next.
6. Next, you can create the connection to the same PC by selecting This PC (the server where Thinfinity is installed), or to Another PC (to use it as a jump server for the final
destination). Select Another PC then enter the remote computer's IP address.
7. Insert the program path and file name. Set default Icon and click Next.
8. At this step, you can select how you want to handle the credentials to access this resource. Select Use the authenticated credentials then click Next.
9. Create a name for your profile, then click Done.
10. A dialog box will request you to Rollback or Commit the changes, click on Commit.
You can open the published application by going to http://127.0.0.1:Port and clicking on the
newly created Profile.
You can now use your application on a browser via the RemoteApp functionality for Thinfinity Workspace.
