This document will guide you through the process of installing both a Gateway and a Primary Broker on a single host.

I. Prerequisites

Gateway & Primary Broker Host

  • Windows x64 Bits Ver.: 8, 8.1, 10, 11.
  • Windows Server X64 Bits Ver.: 2003/8/12/12R2/16/19/22.
  • CPU 4 Cores.
  • RAM 8 GB.

II. Installation

2. Execute the installation file, navigate through the Welcome Screen and click Next.

3. Read and accept the EULA agreement. Click Next.

4. You will be presented with three installation options. For the purposes of this guide, select the All Components option. Then click Next.

All Components
This option is for a standalone installation. Both a Thinfinity Services and Gateway Services installation coexist on the same computer. This installation can also work together with others in a Scaling and Load Balancing configuration.

Broker and HTML5 Services
This option only applies if you are using a Scaling and Load Balancing configuration. A Thinfinity Services installation works with at least one gateway installation and one or more other Thinfinity Services installations.

Reverse Gateway Only
This option applies only if you are using a Scaling and Load Balancing configuration. A Gateway Services installation works together with two or more Thinfinity Services installations.

5. Specify the destination folder and click Next.

6. Click Install to begin the installation process.
7. When complete, click Finish to exit the installation wizard.

8. Open the Thinfinity Workspace Configuration Manager from the Start menu.
9. You will be prompted to register Thinfinity Workspace.

You can find more information on how to register Thinfinity Workspace on the following links:
After installing and registering the product, since both the Gateway and the Primary Broker reside on the same host, you can begin creating connections, configuring security, and other features as needed.
