Introduction
The purpose of this article is to guide new users on how to publish a web application in Thinfinity Workspace. This step-by-step guide will help users through the configuration process and ensure a simple deployment of their web applications.
What is a Web Application Gateway?
In the evolving landscape of digital workspaces, the Web Application Gateway emerges as a pivotal technology within the Thinfinity® Workspace framework. This advanced tool acts as a secure conduit between end users and web-based applications, streamlining access through an HTML5 browser interface. Unlike traditional setups, this gateway eliminates the need for client-side software installations, thereby enhancing user accessibility and maintaining a high level of security.
Central to its functionality, the Web Application Gateway serves as a modern alternative to conventional SSL VPNs and traditional VPNs. By leveraging this technology, Thinfinity® Workspace offers a more integrated and secure approach to accessing web applications. This shift not only aligns with the contemporary needs of digital workspaces but also addresses the inherent limitations and complexities associated with traditional VPN solutions.

Optimize for SPA
Optimizes the connection to work better with Single Page Applications by masking the virtual path to avoid routing incompatibilities with highly JavaScript-dependent web applications.
Sanitize Input (Prevent XSS)
Applies cross-site scripting (XSS) sanitization to each request made to the server to prevent potential XSS problems or attacks.
- After this, type a profile name and click Done. This will be used as the friendly name for this connection.
- Finally, save the changes by clicking Commit.
- Now you can access your web application with Thinfinity Workspace.
Conclusion
