How To Install a Secondary Broker

Pre-Installation Checks

• Thinfinity Workspace installed and configured on the Primary Broker Server. 

• Remote Desktop Session Host role installed on the Secondary Broker Server.

Secondary Broker Installation

In the Secondary Broker:

      1- Obtain the latest Thinfinity Workspace installation file. Get it at https://www.cybelesoft.com/download/

      2- Execute the installation file.

      3- Navigate through the Welcome Screen, clicking 'Next'.

      4- Accept the EULA agreement and proceed by clicking 'Next'.

      5- Choose installation options by selecting ‘Broker and HTML5 Services’, then click 'Next'.

      6- Specify the destination folder and advance with 'Next'.

      7- Initiate the installation process by clicking 'Install'.

      8- Upon completion, finalize the installation by clicking 'Finish'.

Setting as Secondary Broker

      9- Access the Registry Editor by typing 'regedit.msc' in the search box and pressing 'OK'.

      10- Navigate to the key: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cybele Software\Thinfinity\Wolrkspace.

      11- Double-click on 'Broker Role' and change 'Value Data' to 'Secondary', then confirm with 'OK' and close the registry editor.
